What’s in my bag:
bus pass - I can’t get anywhere without it, except there on the corner which is where the bus stop is.
keys - To lock and unlock the portals (are three) of my cave.
sunglasses [or sleep glasses] - I usually wear them when I take a nap on the bus.
holga camera - Someone once said that I shoot from the heart, so this is my gun to not let it slip away. (Such deep!)
book [the blue one] - I always carry one with me. This one is George Orwell’s Animal Farm, and that little thing between the pages is my yellow origami heart bookmark I made it myself.
large plain notebook [the brown one] - I’ve had it since february this year (my boyfriend gave me for my birthday) and I only did two drawings on it so far. I was supposed to use it as sketchbook but I’m afraid to spoil it, and I end up sketching on loose papers.
lined notebook [the yellow one] - To take notes in class, but instead you will find a few words here and there… And a lot of drawings all the way.
pencil case [which is actually a necessaire] - Pencils, fineliners, post-its, elastic bands, adhesive tape, mini stapler, highlighters, glue stick, scissor, x-acto knife… Common and sufficient supplies.
wallet - Money is a scarce item in this area, so I fill it with a picture of my boyfriend, my ID, health insurance card, hand mirror, bobby pins, the beauty salon’s business & loyality card… It’s kind of a necessaire indeed. (EVERYTHING IS REVERSED!)
handheld fan - “Because I sweat a lot” and where I live the weather doesn’t help at all.
adhesive bandages - In case of the floc flats hurt my ankles again.
hairbrush - To make my messed up bangs calm down and stay in place.
cell phone - Mostly used as iPod. Whether riding the bus or washing the dishes, even though there are a bunch of other artists, always on repeat Mumford & Sons BECAUSE OF THE REASONS.
earphones - It’s my music, I don’t like to share it with strangers. BOO!
umbrella - NEVER (I said never) leave home without it, even if it isn’t raining. The weather can change suddenly.
